Pavlova Competition Winners

Well it was duelling pavs at dawn with stiff competition all round.

The overall winner was Carolyn Hutchins of Mt Eden for her free form pavlova. Judge Lauraine Jacobs said "it had a crisp, crunchy crust, even marshmallow interior, perfectly whipped cream and fresh berries".

First Runner up was Natalie Wild for her innovative pavlova with lemon cream and chocolate coated kiwi fruit.

Second runner up with what the judges described as "perfect shape and texture" was first year university student William Lockie.
